From a Lincoln, Nebraska newspaper

Christina T. Wiley was born September 15 1852 in Scotland and came to Canada with her father and sister and a brother when a small child. Later they move to Illinois.

She was married September 20, 1870 to Russell H. Mallory at Marengo, Ill. They came to Nebraska in 1871, locating at Pleasant Hill, in Saline County. Later they lived at Crete and Wilber, Neb. For the past twenty years Mr. and Mrs. Mallory lived in Lincoln with the exception of about three years when residing at Harvard and Cambridge, Neb.

Mr. Mallory died February 4, 1920. To this union eight children were born, three daughters and one son preceding in death. Two daughters and two sons surviving, Mrs. Mayme Albert of Lincoln; Mrs. John Hicks, of Huronlake, Minn; Harry R. Mallory of Lincoln and R. C. Mallory of Red Oak, Ia. The sister and brother of Mrs. Mallory who came from Scotland also survive.

Mrs. Mallory died Friday morning, April 28, 1922 from pneumonia. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. She was baptized when a child in Scotland.

Funeral services were held at Roberts' Chapel Sunday, April 30. Rev. A.J. Hollingsworth officiated. Burial was made in the family lot in Wyuka Cemetery.
