Kathleen was born in 1906 to Patrick and Catherine Maher. Her father died when she was young and from what I can find her mom did not remarry. Kit, as she was called, married Robert Colley in 1926 when she was just 18 years old. Shortly after she gave birth to her first of 4 children, Robert, Dorothy, Patricia and William. Kit had a very tough life and at the age of 40 passed away in the hospital from cancer. As her granddaughter I really didn't know much about her until I started doing my Family Tree. I wish I had some way of getting to know what she was like.
