August D. Byrne Aged 72, of 621 Third street Gallitzin, a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad company, died at his home at 6.18 o'clock last evening of a heart condition.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Annie (Ivory) Byrne, four daughters & one son, Mrs. John L. Bradley and Leo Byrne of Gallitzin, Mrs. John Long of Summerhill, Mrs. Steve Smithbower of Cresson and Mrs. Edgar Wharton of the city., and eight grandchildren. Mr. Byrne was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church of Gallitzin and of the Holy Name society of the church.
Funeral Notice Funeral services for Augustus D. Byrne, retired employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad company, will be held in the St. Patrick's Catholic church at Gallitzin at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning. The high mass of requiem will be sung by the parish pastor, Rev. Joseph H. Farran. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
