Port Huron - Pearl B. Wilson, 103, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999 in Marwood Manor after a long illness.
She was born Aug. 31, 1895 in Philipp, Mississippi to the late Charles and Ella Patterson and lived most of her life in the Port Huron area. She married Francis O. Wilson on Dec. 21, 1915 in Port Huron. He died in 1958.
Mrs. Wilson was employed at the Richert's Restaurant for several years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Washington Avenue United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and playing cards.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by nine grandchildren, Dorothy Dortman, Pat Freiger, Mrs. Gary (Joyce) Phetteplace, Mr. Charles (Myrna) Wilson, Mr. James (June) Wilson and Mrs. Robert (Cindy) Ballard, Paul Silver, Mr. David (Mary) Silver and Mrs. Thomas (Nancy) Grubbs.
she was preceded in death by three sons, Charles W., Francis G. and Robert D. Wilson and a daughter, Ella Silver.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan.8, 1999 in Lakeside Cemetery Chapel. The Rev. Dr. George Gerritsen of Washington Avenue United Methodist Church will officiate.
Memorial may be made to Washington Avenue United Methodist Church. Arrangements were by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
