Henry Fedde Dies at Home

Henry Fedde, 68, a retired machinist who had lived in Redding for the last three years, died last evening at his home. He had been retired because of ill health for the last 10 years. He was born Feb. 14, 1887 in Papillion, Neb. He was a World War I veteran and a member of American Legion post No. 197 in Redding.


He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mabel Fedde of Redding, three daughters, Mrs. Neva Rais and Mrs. Mable Miller of Redding and staff Sgt. Lila Fedde with the women's Air Force at Hamilton field; a brother, Adolph Fedde of Gretna, Neb.; and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Linn and Fulkerth chapel with Keith Ward officiating. Cremation will follow at Marysville.
