Graveside services for Violet Marie Tomlinson, Barnard, 75, will be held at 2 p. m. today, Tuesday, October 8, 2002, in Ward Branch cemetery. Mrs. Barnard died Saturday, October 5, 2002 in Granbury. She was a delicatessen manager. She was born September 15, 1927 in Voca to Ruel Ray and Maude Graves Tomlinson. She was a member of Thorp Springs Church of Christ.
Her husband, R. C. Barnard and a daughter preceded her in death.
Survivors are a daughter, Shirley Pitts of Lipan; a son, David and wife Cindy Barnard of Rowlett; stepchildren, Curtis and Elnora B Barnard of Winnsboro, Herman and Jo Ann Barnard of Garland, Bruce and Cher Barnard of Weatherford, Woodrow and Linda Barnard of Winnsboro and Bill Lahman of Illinois; sisters, Laverne Brown and Lilly Purselly of Granbury; Jeanie Thrash of San Antonio; Dora Dean Staggs of Granbury and Nita Addison of Lipan; brother, Ervin Tomlinson of Granbury; 25 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
