The son of Albert Cravens & May Rousher. Born in Jenks, Oklahoma. He is found on the 1930 U.S. Census living in Jenks, Oklahoma with his family, mother May, brother Charles and sister Anna, as well as a boarder named Ruth Pinkman. On the 1940 U.S. Census, he is again living in Jenks with his mother May, brother Charles, sister Anna and the addition of brother Donald. He enlisted in the Air Corps Reserves as a private on November 4, 1942, serving stateside active duty under the Thomason Act. He married Marie A. Phillips in Tulsa, Oklahoma on May 29, 1944. Shortly afterward he was ordered a tour of duty in the European theatre of World War II, serving in the Italian campaign, where he was killed in action on September 27th at age 22.
