Betty Hooten Contini, age 52, of Dover, died Friday, August 30, 2002, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. A daughter of the late Cecil Corda Harness, she was born April 30, 1950, at Marshall, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dover. Survivors include her husband, Paul Contini; three sons: Randy Hooten of Little Rock; Terry Hooten of Atkins; and Cordy Hooten of Dover; her mother, Irene Harness of Dover; and four brothers: Jerry Harness of Dover; Clytee Harness of Newport Richie, Florida; Lanny Harness of Greenbriar; and Van Harness of Greer's Ferry.
Funeral service will be 10 A.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2002, at the First Baptist Church of Dover with Rev. Jeff Paxton and Rev. Don Hankins officiating. Graveside committal and burial will be 3 P.M., Tuesday, at the Harness Cemetery, near Leslie, Arkansas, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M., at the funeral home.
