ALBA - Services for Frances Juette Carter, 78, Alba, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Beaty Funeral Home chapel, Mineola, with Brother Robert Stovall officiating.

Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery, Grand Saline.

Mrs. Carter died July 9, 2007, in Grand Saline.

She was born Feb. 14, 1929, in Alba to the late Nathaniel and Pearl Ross, and lived in the Alba area most of her life. She retired as a loader operator from Schoelkopf Products in Mineola, and was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.J. Carter, two brothers, three sisters; two granddaughters and two stepchildren.

Survivors include sons, James M. Carter, Haltom City, Ricky Carter, North Richland Hills, Randy Carter, Alba, and Trutis "T.C." Carter, Murchison; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Mike Troyer, Roger Copeland, Jerry Stone, Eddie Stone, Gary Troyer, Mike Butler and Billy Butler.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
