WHITWELL -- Earnest Ray McNabb, 72, passed away, Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at his home.
Mr. McNabb was the former owner of R&R Bait & Tackle and Cedar Grove Convenient Store. He was also a member of Kelly's Ferry Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kelly Raymond McNabb.
Ray is survived by his wife, JoArm McNabb; a daughter and spouse, Billie Kay McNabb Yokely and Alan; a granddaughter, Maria Alexandria Yokely, all of Whitwell; his 95-year-old mother, Nanny Ruth Murray; and a brother and spouse, James Dallas McNabb and Gladys, of Chattanooga.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. CDT on Monday, Aug. 18, 2008, in the funeral home chapel with Brother Mike Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends for visitation from noon until 8 p.m. CDT today at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in McNabb Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chris Brewer, John Dunn, Wayne Dunn, Denny Gholston, Steve Runyan and Barron Former.
Honorary pallbearers will be Barry Fox, Gene Runyan, Jeff Fox, Sam McNabb, Benny McBryar and Corky Jewell.
