To Michigan in 1840, and settled 300 acres of land in Concord Township near Albion. Marriages: 1) Cathrine Gillispie June 9, 1842 (she died April, 1853); 2) Phebe A. (LUCE) Bayn m. 1855. She was the widow of William's brother Albert who died in December 1854 and is interred in Bath Mills Cemetery in Jackson County.
