Partisan and politician. After the World War II he was elected to the ranks of the Popular Democratic Front for the constituency in 1948 Cuneo-Asti and Alessandria always confirmed with the PCI (Italian Communist Party) until 1963, when he opted for the Senate. Not renominated in 1968 and preferred to work at the ENI. According to his version, he was called "Colonel Valerio" and it was he who executed to Benito Mussolini and his mistress Claretta Petacci.
