MRS. GUSTA A. DURR FUNERAL RITES ARE HELD AT ARCADIA
Arcadia, March 3 – Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at (illegible) chapel on First Avenue for Mrs. Gusta A. Durr, who passed away early Friday morning of last week at the home of her grandnice Mrs. August Doubrawa, 461 Fairview avenue.
The service was conducted by L. L. Tucker, reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Arcadia, and burial was made in Mountain View Cemetery, Pasadena.
Mrs. Durr was a native of Pennsylvania and was burn in September 1855. She had lived in California for the past twenty years and in Arcadia for three years. Two brothers, Fred Durr of Atlantic, Iowa, and Henry Durr of Tracy, Cal.; and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hunt and Mrs. E. B. McClure, of Stockton, Cal, survive her, in addition to two grandnieces, Mrs. W. L. Sockman and Mrs. Doubrawa, of Arcadia.
The remains of Mrs. Mary M. Culver who died last week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice Lipeckl; 1715 South Baldwin, have been sent to Chicago for burial. No services were held here.
