I have some information for this memorial:
Elizabeth Mittie "Betty" O'Bannion was the daughter of of Thomas O'Banion and Mildred Traylor of Limestone CO, AL.

She married Lemuel B.Askew (c. 1804-c.1850), the son of Sarah and Elisha (1770/5-1839) Askew of Stewart CO, TN. As a young man he moved to Lawrence CO, TN. He bought 182 acres on Shoal Creek and 5 town lots in Lawrenceburg. He served in the Mexican War in 1846 and was discharged on a surgeon's certificate, dying a few years later. He is listed on a monument in Lawrenceburg that honors soldiers who served in the First Regiment of Tennessee Volunteers from that town.

After his death, Elizabeth and their two children crossed the Tennessee River from Lawrence CO, TN into Colbert CO, AL and show up in the 1860 Census there with many other Askews.

Their children were: Sarah Ann (Brown) 1833-1893 and William Thomas 1835-1925.
