JONESVILLE - William L. "Bill" Addis, 63, of 319 C. St., died Feb. 13, 2000, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, after an extended illness.

A native of Jonesville, he was the son of the late Ernest P. and Genevieve Belue Addis. He was a member of the Gilead Baptist Church and was retired from the S.C. Department of Corrections at Dutchman.

Surviving are a daughter, Regina Yeargin of Jonesville; one son, Justin Addis of Jonesville; two sisters, Peggy Burgess of Union and Mary Jo Addis of Jonesville; and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Gilead Baptist Church by Revs. Jerry Lawson, Daniel Johnston, Richard A. Gunter and Joseph Stover. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. to await the hour of service.

The family is at the home.
