William Preston Bennett, Born in Desota Iowa, A boat Builder by trade, passed away a lonely man in North Hollywood. He was married in 1898 to Edna Huffmaster in Galveston Texas. He left his son and wife and went west to find his fame and fortune never to he heard from again. His wife Edna passed away and the son, James Taylor Bennett was raised by the Huffmaster family in Galveston Texas. William Preston Bennett's parents are buried at The Rosedale Cemetery in Los Angeles, California. James Taylor Bennett is buried in Houston Texas.
