Electa Jane Byer, 86, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, Ark. She was born April 20, 1919, in LaGrange County, Ind., to Wesley David Harger and Rosemin Dianitha Getz Harger.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, sewing, playing cards and games.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Byer; a daughter, Jane Louise Clark; a son, John William Byer; an infant son, James David Byer; three brothers, Wesley, Floyd and Harold; and five sisters, Phyllis, Eloise, Elsie, Pearl and Iva.
Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Keene, Mary Martin and Martha Reeves Byer, all of Pea Ridge; a son, Sam Miller Jr. of Washington, Ga.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge with the Rev. John Gibson.
Burial will be at the Pea Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends House Adult Day Care, 1200 W. Walnut St., Rogers, AR 72756.
