From the Galion, Ohio paper: Wife dead on Arrival at Hospital Saturday, Husband Dies of Injuries Sunday--Galion--Double funeral services will be conducted Wednesday from the Volk-Richardson Funeral Home here for a Galion, Ohio man and his wife, victims of a head-on two-car crash Saturday night east of Galion, Ohio. Mrs. Faye H. Berry, 47, of 1116 Harding Way E., was pronounced dead on arrival at Mansfield General Hospital about 8:20 p.m. Her husband Elmer E. Berry, 53, same address, died Sunday at 5:30 a.m. October 22, 1976, in the same Hospital. The Berry car dropped off the right side of the road, according to the report, and as he tried to gain control of his car, it went left of center into the path of the River's car, which was westbound. Both cars were demolished, and both slid off the north side of the road, stopping side by side, with the engine shoved against at telephone pole and in a ditch. Rev. Donald J. Voelm will officiate for services for Berry and his wife at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 1967 from the Volk-Richardson Funeral Home. Bural will be in the Fairview Cemetery here.
