Mrs. MAUDE BOUTWELL
Mrs. Maude Boutwell, native of Bennington, and resident of 222 Mussey St., Rutland, died Monday at Rutland Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm at the Barnard Funeral Home, Pittsford, with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery, Rutland.
A daughter of Charles and Grace (Russell) Jones, she was born Aug 8, 1897 and had resided in Rutland for about 15 years. She and her husband, Daniel Boutwell, celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary Nov 18. Mrs. Boutwell was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Bennington.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Bateman of Rutland; a son, Charles J. of Florida; eight grandchildren; a sister, Dorothy Park of Bennington; two brothers, Gardner Jones of Bennington and Russell Jones of Pittsfield, Mass.; a stepsister, Mrs. Grace Clifford of Maine; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home for a half hour before the funeral service.
