Leona Shirley Baccei, 92, of Rutland died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at The Pines of Rutland.
She was born in Westfield, Mass., December 30, 1920, the daughter of Enos and Marguerite (Congdon) Bushey.
In January, 1939, she was married to Dino G. Baccei, who died January 1, 2000.
Shirley was employed for many years as a secretary with OMYA Inc., retiring in 1984.
Surviving are a daughter Jane Kupferer of Rutland; a son Gary Baccei of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister Phyllis Shortsleeve and her husband Jack of Chittenden; three grandchildren, Scott Johnson and his wife Denise of CA, Susan McGee and her husband Jeffrey of Rutland Town, and Laurie Rose of Wilmington, NC; great-grandchildren, Maximilian and Trajan McGee, William Rose, Matthew and Mackenzie Johnson, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband and three brothers, Wayne Pelkey, Harold Pelkey and Raymond Bushey.
There are no visiting hours.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Union Church of Proctor. Officiating will be the Rev. Douglas Williamson, pastor.
Burial will follow in South Street Cemetery in Proctor, with a reception to follow.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clifford Funeral Home in Rutland.
