She was born in Mount Holly, Aug. 27, 1914, the daughter of Richard and Ida (Stone) Wortman.Survivors include three daughters, Ruth Louras of Rutland, Mae Davis of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Nancy Underwood of North Springfield; two sons, Edward Armstrong of Enfield, N.H., and Charles Armstrong of Florida; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband, Harold E. Armstrong, in 1990.
The graveside service will be held at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery in East Wallingford.Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain View Center Activities Fund, Haywood Avenue, Rutland, VT 05701; or a favorite charity.Arrangements are under the direction of the Clifford Funeral Home.
