Cook, Evelyn E. - Of Grand Blanc, age 76 died Tuesday, September 1, 19 92 at McClaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Friday , September 4, 1992 at Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davis on Road. Pastor Robert W. Bowlander, officiating. Interment in Flint M emorial Park Cemetery. Mrs Cook Will lie in state at the funeral home after 7 PM this evening. Cook was born in Flint, Michigan , June 6, 19 15 and resided almost her entire life in Flint area. She was a member of the Riverdale Baptist Church. She was employed for 15 years at Gene ral Motors and she retired from Fisher-Coldwater Plant in 1973. Surviving are; Husband Cliff ( COOKIE ) Cook: Sons, Robert and Bonnie Palmateer of Burton, Floyd Palmateer of Flint, Lester and Joie Palmateer of Grand Blanc, Arthur Bowman of Swartz Creek, Randy Bowman of Flint; daughter - in - law, Dianne Palmateer of Flint. 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren ; sisters Marquerite Germain of Flint, Leona Tetzloff of Florida, Dorothy Vandergrift of California, Ada Hatton of Flint; brothers; Robert Moore and wife Clarisa of Texas, Leslie Moore and wi fe Jessie of Montrose; sister-in- law, Lena Taylor of Burton; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Moore, a son, Fredrick Palmateer, and a grandson, Scott Palmateer
