Bernard L. Nygren "Barney", age 86, of Fowlerville, died May 15, 2009. He was born April 2, 1923 to Louis & Hazel (Ferrington) Nygren. He married Pearly Cunningham on Dec 31, 1942, she preceded him in death in 1977. He was a carpenter for Nygren Brothers Construction Co. and a veteran of the US Navy, serving in WWII. He is survived by 4 grandchildren:Robert, Ryan, Raeann & Rachelle, 2 sisters: Barb Ganton & Donna Popa and 1 brother: Robert, and many nieces & nephews. Barney was preceded in death by his daughter: Sharon Wing, 2 sisters: Lois DeWaters & Dorothy Philburn and 3 brothers: William , Louis & Daniel. Services 11AM Monday at Niblack Funeral Home, Dillingham Liverance Chapel where the family will receive friends from 4 To 8 Sunday. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Military Honors provided by V F W Post #6464, Fowlerville. The family would like to thank Medilodge of Howell for the fine care Barney received since 2004.
