Fred E. Adams was the son of Mary Lu Etta and Fred E. Adams and he grew to manhood in the Akron and Chatsworth areas. He was a World War I veteran and served overseas in U.S. Field Artillery. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
He is survived by three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Evan (Ethel) Harris, of Akron; Mrs. Wesley (Myrtle) McCorkell, of Canistota, S.D., Mrs. Bill (Elaine) Brest, of Missoula, Montana; James Adams, of Sioux City; Arthur Adams, Hobson, Montana, and Claude Adams, of Rio Vista, Calif..
