Memorial services were held Sunday, May 30, for Fred E. Adams, age 73, of Broderick, California. Burial was in Veteran's Woodlawn Cemetery, Sacramento, Calif., on June 1.

Fred E. Adams was the son of Mary Lu Etta and Fred E. Adams and he grew to manhood in the Akron and Chatsworth areas. He was a World War I veteran and served overseas in U.S. Field Artillery. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

He is survived by three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Evan (Ethel) Harris, of Akron; Mrs. Wesley (Myrtle) McCorkell, of Canistota, S.D., Mrs. Bill (Elaine) Brest, of Missoula, Montana; James Adams, of Sioux City; Arthur Adams, Hobson, Montana, and Claude Adams, of Rio Vista, Calif..
