Loving husband, caring father of 4, and grandfather of 9. Son of John and Jennie (Price) Jones. Sergeant in the U.S. Army (WWII, Korean War). Grandpa was born and raised in Searles, Alabama. He joined the Army and later married my grandmother in Salzburg, Austria. Following their marriage, he was stationed in Norfolk, VA, England, Fort Bragg, and Fort Hood. Grandpa passed away at his final duty station in southern Germany. He is joined in Heaven by his daughter Jennie Jones Gilliland, and now by his beautiful bride, Leopoldine Schreivogl Jones (1925-2011).
