Felix Shirley, Sr.
Funeral services for Felix L. Shirley, Sr., 86, of 2630 39th St., who died Friday at West Alabama General Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the South Highland Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Heltman will officiate with burial in Memory Hill Gardens and Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Inez R. Shirley, Tuscaloosa; a son, Felix L. Shirley, Jr., Tuscaloosa; two daughters, Mrs. H. H. (Eleanor) Haley, St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Marguerite S. Willink, Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Mr. T.W. Patton, Metairie, La; nine grandchildren; for great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be grandsons Felix Shirley III, John Freeman, Jr., Mark Freeman, Steven Haley, David Haley, Charles Thompson.

He was retired from the Brown Wood Preserving Co. in Brownville and was a deacon of the South Highland Baptist Church.
