I had known Barb since 1960. Her oldest daughter (Deb) and I went all the way through school together. Barb and my mom became the best of friends.

Barb got brave and decided to be our Girl Scout Leader. We did have a lot of fun in her troop.

For many years we lived only a block from each other in Brinker Heights housing edition in Marion. She was a great friend to have. She'd do anything she could for you. In the last few years she became very close to my oldest sister Paula. I know Paula is going to miss her very much. They would talk on the phone at least twice a day.
