Esther (Karst) (Fiedler), 86 of Huntington passed away on Monday, at the Heritage of Huntington. She was a daughter of Leroy and Susan (Brachula) Beal.
She was a 1942 graduate of Lancaster Township High School in Huntington County. She had worked in bookkeeping for Gassards in Huntington, Huntington County ASCS Office and also at Wolf and Dessaur's Department Store as a sales clerk and she had worked at Tri-State Insulation in Fort Wayne.
She was united in marriage to Richard Karst, he preceded her in death on November 11, 1959. She later married LaVerne Fiedler in 1968, he preceded her in death on February 28, 1998, and she later married Herbert Adams on June 6, 2003, he preceded her in death in 2009.
Survivors include two sisters: Effie Mae Maples Zent of Warren; Thresa Reust of Huntington; four stepsons: Leonard Fiedler, Randy Fiedler, William Fiedler and Donald Fiedler all of Fort Wayne; a stepdaughter: Mary (Adams) Trabel of Fort Wayne; nieces and nephews: Mary N. (Ball) Hall of Gillette, WY; Earl Ball of Orlando, FL; Susan (Maples) Zinsmeister of Huntington; Marthene (Fullhart) Burnau of Warsaw; David Beal of Fort Wayne; Marilyn (Beal) Wilfert of Three Rivers, WI; Eldon Reust of Huntington; Arden Reust of Rome City; Richard Beal of Huntington; Robert Beal of Huntington and James Fullhart of Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by a brother: John E. Beal; two sisters: Mary Fullhart and Helen Ball; a nephew: James Reust and a stepson: Larry Fiedler.
Services were held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Mark Clough officiating.
