Mrs. Frank Baker died suddenly at her home on Oak Street, after partially recovering from an illness of several months of symptoms of typhoid fever and later developed a case of kidney trouble. She had been able to be out of her bed about 3 or 4 months. The disease affected her heart. Friday evening a bad spell caused almost instant death. She had stepped to the door and while there fell to the floor in a convulsion and died instantly.
Mrs. Baker was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mead. She was 36 years old September 6th and had been a model wife and mother. Besides the husband, she leaves six children, 3 girls and 3 boys, the oldest, twelve years old.
Funeral services will be held at the residence Monday morning at nine with Rev. C. H. Bell officiating. Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery.
