A former registered nurse at Bluffton Caylor-Nickel Clinic, Maxine L. (Paul) Alexander, 84, of Warren, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 6 at the United Methodist Memorial Home in Warren.
She graduated from Methodist School of Nursing in Fort Wayne in 1944 and was also a school nurse for 10 years for the Huntington County Community School Corporation. She was a 1937 graduate of Huntington High School and attended Huntington Church of the Brethren.
Born Jan. 1, 1920 in Huntington to Emery V. and Martha Alice Beaver Paul, her marriage on Sept. 13, 1942 in Huntington was to Charles Edward Alexander, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Steve (Sara) Wigman of Brownsburg and Mrs. Jeff (Martha Kay) Williams of Warsaw, and four grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel in Warren with Pastor Herbert Edwards officiating and burial in Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.
Calling at the funeral home will be Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday for one hour prior to services.
