Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 3, 2014 at George Boom Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 5:00 PM Thursday, January 2 at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Lois Elaine Nickels, daughter of Walt and Margaret (Clark) Nickels, was born May 14, 1951 in Canning, SD.
Lois was united in marriage with Michael "Mick" Caldwell in Sioux Falls, SD.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Mick; three sons, Rusty Caldwell, Sioux Falls, SD, Corey Caldwell, Sioux Falls, SD, Shane Caldwell, Sioux Falls, SD; her mother, Margaret Nickels, Pierre, SD; a sister, Mary Linander and her husband, Terry, Columbus, GA; a brother, George Nickels, Gillette, WY; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Lois was preceded in death by her father, Walt and a brother, Walt "Sonny" Nickels Jr.
