C.L. "Bud" was born on a farm near Montrose, SD to Louis and Jenny Morrison. He married Elaine Cadwell on July 1, 1944 in Bridgewater, SD. He then served in the US Army as a machine gunner during WWII from Sept 1944 to 1946; during which he received two bronze stars for his campaigns in Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a farmer all of his life, and worked at John Morrell and Co for 38 years until his retirement. Bud belonged to the American Legion in Hartford, SD.
Grateful for sharing his life is his wife of 64 years, Elaine; his five children, Roger (Ann) of Monroe, SD, Sandy (Jim) Reisch of Luverne MN, Sharon (Randy) White of Hartford SD, Debbie Frerichs of Sioux Falls, and Dean (Janice) of Hartford SD.
