Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 11th, at the Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home in Sioux Falls, for Lucille Weiland, 71. Mrs. Weiland died August 7th at McKennan Hospital. Interment is at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls.

Lucille Ingebretson was born March 10, 1917 to Josie (Grane) and John Ingebretson at Canton. She graduated from Canton High School and nurses training. She worked and was administrator at Canton Hospital during the late 1940's.

She married Arthur Weiland November 23, 1951 in Windom, Minnesota. They made their home in Sioux Falls where Mrs. Weiland was head nurse at McKennan Hospital for 22 years. She was a member of the CAV auxiliary and the McKennan School of Nursing.

Mrs. Weiland is survived by two sons and two daughters, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lucile Weiland, 71, of 829 Pam Road, a former head nurse at McKennan Hospital for 22 years, died Sunday in McKennan Hospital.

Lucile Ingebretson was born March 10, 1917, in Canton. She attended McKennan School of Nursing and moved to Sioux Falls from Canton in 1951.

On Nov. 23, 1951, she married Arthur Weiland in Windom, Minn. Mrs. Weiland was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. Her husband died Jan. 25, 1988.

Survivors include two sons: David, Baton Rouge, La.; and Darrell, Spokane, Wash.; two daughters: Mrs. William (Sharon) Bierma, Iona, Minn.; and Carol Parris, Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Barnett-Lewis Funeral Funeral Home, with burial in Wood-lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
