Melvin "Skip" Henle, 41, of 5308 W. 50th St died Thursday in Good Samaritan Village. Mr. Henle was born May 4, 1943 in Sioux Falls and was graduated from Cathedral High School. He served in the army in Viet Nam and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He married Lynn Erickson July 15, 1967 in Sioux Falls. He was employed at John Morrell and Company for 20 years, retiring in 1982 because of ill health.
Survivors include his wife, a son Scott, two daughters: Angela and Andrea, his mother, Mrs. Jeanette Henle, and his father Archie, all of Sioux Falls, four brothers: Gary, Kevin and Thomas, all of Sioux Falls, and John, Gillette Wyoming, and four sisters: Patricia Anderson, Mrs Barbara Koppien, and Marti, all of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Marcia Dohn, Baltic.
Services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Monday, in St. Michaels Catholic Church. Burial will be at Hills of Rest Memorial Park.
Visiting hours begin at noon today in Miller Funeral Home. A Scripture service begins at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, in the church.
