Funeral services will be at the First Baptist Church Thursday at 10am for Albert L Haplin 77 of 2401 W. Madison st, who died at a local hospital sunday.

Mr Halpin was born in Cedar Rapids NEB, on Oct 10 1894. He attended school there and served in the Army in France and Germany. He then farmed in Nebraska for 28 Years with Iowa Master Breeders. His marriage to Myrtle E. Nelson took place 16 Oct 1937 at Columbus, Neb.

Suvivors include his widow, a son, James P, Sioux Falls, two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs Myrtle Thomas, Gothenburg, Neb and Mrs Mable Medell, Blue Hill, Neb, (Benz)

NOTE: Cemetery records indicate no headstone for purchased for the grave.
