Former Resident Dies at Age 81 -- A former Sioux Falls resident, Mrs. Agnes G. Perryman, 81, died at her son's home in Sioux City Monday night. Mrs. Perryman resided in Sioux Falls from 1910 to 1953, when she moved to Sioux City. Born Jan. 1, 1877 [date in doubt], at Chicago, she homesteaded at Miller when 16. After her marriage to Thomas Perryman in 1898, she moved to Cedar Rapids, Ia. She later moved to Elkton and afterwards to Wessington. She and her husband operated a hotel at both towns. Mrs. Perryman was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband in 1914 and later a son, Raymond, she is survived by another son, Thomas, Sioux City, and two grandchildren. Services will be held at St. Joseph's Cathedral at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery. [Argus Leader, Tuesday September 9, 1958, p. 2]
