Funeral services for Joseph Preston Goble, who died Monday at his ranch home on the Island, will be held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the Ferndale Methodist Episcopal Church, under the auspices of the Ferndale Lodge of Odd Fellows. Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Jesse Heath. Interment will be at Ferndale cemetery.
Goble was a native of Port Kenyon, where he was born 51 years ago, a son of Ephraim and Sarah Hainer Goble. He is survived by his wife, Cora, and two sons, Leslie and Charles. He also leaves five brothers and two sisters.
