He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1895 with an A.B. degree. He received his medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1899.

Walter Kempster Gray, University of Arkansas School of Medicine, Little Rock, 1918; member of the American Urological Association ; served during the World War; on the staffs of the Mount Sinai Hospital and the Columbia Hospital; aged 58; died, Oct. 20, 1938, of an injury to the right leg.
