Sanfrid Lindelä

"Pappa"
Born in Finland, His mother was Kaisa Greta Päätalo Lindelä. He had brothers, August, Ferdinand, Adrian and Frans.
Sanfrid worked for Wilma's father on his farm. He immigrated to the Upper Peninsula around 1916, a few years before Wilma and Tyyne (Grandma Honeycutt).
He first job was with the Lake Superior Smelting Company, when they closed in 1919 he worked on a dairy farm, also worked for a shoe repair shop before finally landing another copper mine job with Isle Royale Mining Company.

Mom has fond memories of him; he'd pick her up in his truck and take her to spend the day with him.
Every Saturday night they would go to their house for a sauna.

According to my baby book, he sent me $5.00 when I was born and $5.00 on my first and 2nd birthdays. He died right after my 2nd birthday. I think my mom owes me $15 LOL
