Emerson L. Evans Jr. "Gone Racin", Age 45, of Dayton, passed away suddenly Saturday, March 31, 2001. Mr Evans (dad) was an auto body repairman at the Jacobs Auto Body Co. for many years. He was the beloved father of five children, Brian Evans (me), Lisa Evans, Kristi Evans, Karla Evans, Justin (Evans) Dailey; 3 grandchildren, Jonathon Evans, Destini Duff, Tori Duff. He is also survived by his father and mother, Emerson Evans and Delores Evans; 1 brother, Bob; 4 sisters, Karen, Sherry, Mary, Donna; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be Tuesday at the Magetti Gavin Funeral Home, 1508 Valley St., where services will be held 10:00A.M. Wednesday with Pastor Randy Grimes officiating. Burial Willow View Cemetery.
As of 2009,lots have changed: Brian Evans married (11/22/03) Robin Reece and they now have three kids Jonathon Byron(7/10/95), Chaz Luca(4/28/05), and Mattei Lee-Ann(7/13/06) plus we've moved to a new house left to us by Robins grandma. Lisa Evans is living on her own and still single. Kristi Evans married David Duff and they now have three kids Destani, Tori, and Austin. Karla Evans is in a college prep High School. Justin Dailey is back home living with his mom.
