In the 1900 census Guy was 24 and residing with his parents Charles and Flora in Wilton. He had an older sister Halcyone and two other living siblings. Guy was a painter in the hay knife factory. His father was a farmer and mother the asst. post mistress.
He married Bertha Ellen Higgins daughter of Charles E. and Angeline L. (Robbins) Higgins on July 2, 1906. At the time of the marriage Guy was a painter. She was of (Snow Falls) Oakland, Maine. They had a daughter Arlene Ellen Adams born in March 1907 in Oakland Maine.
In the 1930 census they were still living in Oakland, Kennebec, Maine. Guy was 53, owned a home there and was a spinner in the woolen mill. Bertha was 44 and daughter Arlene was 23 and a school teacher.
His wife Bertha died in 1942.
Guy died at age 93 in Waterville Maine and was burying Pease Road Cemetery in Wilton.
