Mrs. Jane Vandruff, wife of Miller Vandruff, died after a lingering illness of two years at the family home on south High street Monday night at 11 o'clock. The cause of her death was cancer. She was born at LaGrange, Kentucky, 63 years ago last January, and came to Bates county in 1878. Twenty-three years ago she was married to Miller Vandruff and has lived in the city for five years.
