He was born May 22, 1875, a son of Elisha and Margaret Zook Lippencott. Mr. Lippencott was a retired farmer and a former member of the Ruff Creek Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jessie Lippencott, are: one grandson, Allen Henderson, of Birmingham, Mich,; a step-granddaughter, Mrs. C. Kenneth (Helen) Moore, of Lakeland, Florida; one step-grandson, Paul Rhodes; five great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; a step-son, Franklin Rhodes, of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Benjamin (Benny) Lippencott, Washington, and Guy Lippencott, Waynesburg, and several nieces and nephews.
Two sons, Russell and Howard, and one daughter, Margaret Henderson, preceded him in death.
