CATAWBA - Jewell Mundy Morrow, 67, of Alley Road, Catawba, passed away Friday, May 5, 2006, at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
She was born March 29, 1939, in Catawba County to Alma Sipe Mundy of Catawba and the late Harold Mundy.
She retired as secretary with the N.C. Baptist Home and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Thomasville.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Christopher.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, the Rev. Phillip Morrow of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Rose Marie and David Bibeau of Catawba; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Ray and Patrice Morrow of Conover; her mother, Alma S. Mundy of Catawba; two grandchildren, Lindsey Rose Bibeau and Clara Louise Morrow; three sisters, Nancy Brown and Marilyn Benge, both of Statesville, and Carolyn Worley of Catawba; and a brother, Davis Mundy of Newton.
A Service of Remembrance will be held Monday, May 8, 2006, at 5 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church. The Rev. Tamara Wensil will officiate. Burial will follow in Center United Methodist Church Cemetery.
