The death of Mrs. Jerusha Alley, a member of the Soldiers' Home, occurred at her home, 2406 Lafayette Ave. at 11:30 p.m. Sunday, death resulting from after effects of influenza. She was 75 years of age. Mrs. Alley was admitted to membership at the Home from Seward in 1917. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Louis Atkinson, of Ramah, Colo.; five sons, Dr. R. Alley of Denver, Colo., L.L. of Tekamah, Neb., B. R., of Oak Park, Ill., E. L. and Weldon of this city, as also two sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held from the Home chapel at ten o'clock Tuesday morning, Rev. A. V. Hunter officiating. Burial was made in the Burkett cemetery.
