Son of Rev. Hiram J Jones and Sarah Jane "Sadie" Murphy Jones. He was first married to Mabel Iona Mitts Jones in Weed, Siskiyou County, California on July 31, 1925. At this time he was a Pentecostal Church of God Minister in Weed. They had five children. They divorced in 1935 and he then married Mary Burback on Sept,30, 1942. He helped her raise her children. While in Santa Jose they ran a rest home for many years. Guy was a very gifted musician and made stringed instruments such as the violin, guitar, chello, etc.
