29 Dec 1917 - Germantown, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, USA - married Phyllis Lyle Snape (no Memorial found to-date for Phyllis)

Parents - William Joseph Barstow and Edith Elizabeth Smith (no Memorial found to-date for Edith)

Children:

  • William Merrill Barstow, Jr (1919-2012)
  • Donald Lyle Barstow (1926-2012)
  • Bruce Robert Barstow (1932-2015)
  • Allen M Barstow (1934 - unk)

Note: although Bruce and Allen are both named as living children in the 1989 Obituary of Phyllis Lyle Snape [Barstow], and both Bruce and Allen have newspaper/marriage announcements that indicate parents as Lieut. William M Barstow and Phyllis L Barstow, neither appear on the 1940 US Census with their parents Allen does appear on his parents 1950 Census. I am uncertain whether these 2 sons were adopted, or if they were simply enumerated elsewhere (other family, a boarding school?)
