Mrs. Nellie Anders, 87, widow of the late Herbert L. Anders, Sr., of 14 E. 34th St. passed away Sunday. She was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville. She was a member of the Episcopal Church, and the Daughters of the American Revolution, past president of the Springfield Womans Club, and past president of the Duval County Federation of Womens Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Givens, of Jacksonville; 3 sons, Herbert L., Nelson, and Brantley Anders, all of Jacksonville; a brother, Roland Gilbert, of Miami; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Hardage-Krauss Northside Funeral Home, 4315 Main St., with the Rev. Robert W. Milby officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
