Funeral services for Mandy Sweat Wainwright, 73, who died Wednesday May 31, 2000, will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM in First Coast Christian Center with Pastor Perry Fruscella, officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home. Mrs. Wainwright was a native of Baker County, Florida and a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of First Coast Christian Center for many years. She also avidly enjoyed bowling and fishing. She was the former owner of Wainwright Heating and Air Conditioning. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, the late James O. Wainwright. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Wainwright; 5 sisters, Toria Higginbotham (E.D.), Alma Hopps, Shirley Rhoden, Bernice Raulerson (Robert), and Sally Cox (Rudy); a brother, Johnnie Sweat (Aleene). Serving as active pallbearers will be her nephews.
