Pottstown, May 26 - Kryder E. Levengood, 80 died at his home, 239 Bryton Ave. this borough. Born here, he was a son of the late Henry E. and Charlotte (Kepner) Levengood. He was a retired mill worker of the Old Lessig Iron Co.
Surviving are his widow, Emma (Lessig); two sons, Wilson, at home, and Elmer, this place; two daughters, Pearl, wife of George Dooley Sr., Newtown and Anna, wife of Earl Haas, Birdsboro; a sister, Mrs. Minnie L. Gross, Pottstown R.D.3; 48 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Houck Funeral Home, here. Capt. C. Robert Flinn of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will be made in Newtown Cemetery, Newtown.

Kryder E. Levengood, 80, the husband of Emma (Lessig) Levengood, 239 Bryton Ave., died at his home Saturday at 1:30 p.m., following an illness of 12 weeks.
Born in Pottstown, the son of the late Henry E. and Charlotte (Kepner) Levengood, he was a retired mill worker at the Old Lessig Iron Company. Surviving with the wife are two sons, Wilson, at home and Elmer, of 774 N. Charlotte Street, two daughters, Pearl, wife of George Dooley Sr., Newtown, and Anna, wife of George Haas, Birdsboro; a sister, Mrs. Minnie L. Gross, Pottstown R.D.3; and a brother, Frank of Reading. Also surviving are 46 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
